Ashley Surgery Walking for Health Group
The Ashley Walking for Health group is a fun way to get some exercise, see places you have perhaps heard about but never been before and explore others that are just on the doorstep. It’s also opportunity to strike up new friendships.
We meet every Thursday at 13:45 on the car park at the Loggerheads Pub car park.
We do two levels of walk on consecutive Thursdays:
Moderate walk – on flat ground or gentle slopes with mainly firm surfaces and no steps or stiles, usually about 1 hour can be up to 2 hours
Strenuous walk – up to 2 hours, can be up to 4 miles; will include steep slopes, steps, uneven surfaces and stiles.
Numbers vary, with some walks we have fewer than 10 but other weeks we can have up to 20 walkers. Why not come along and join us? It’s all very relaxed and we take care to plan walks to suit the health and ability of everyone who takes part.
